Founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell have toured the world for more than 50 years with their timeless sound.

What is Healthy Kids Day®? Healthy Kids Day® is a national initiative celebrated at Ys across the country to help inspire healthy habits in kids and families. Bring the whole family to enjoy free activities like face painting, a bounce house, child sack lunch, swimming, giant Jenga, Imagination Playground, corn hole, basketball, snow cones, community partners, a bicycle giveaway, and more!

This is a free event and open to the public. *The parent/guardian must attend with the child and have a completed Facility Waiver on file.*

Yoga Flow Class: All Skill Levels Welcome

Wabash Community Event

An instructor from Fusion Yoga, Fort Wayne travels to teach a yoga flow class for all levels of participants. It is held upstairs in the studio of Wabash Valley Dance Theater (58 W. Canal St. Wabash, IN).

It is $20 drop-in or $60 monthly fee. You can pay cash or online at www.wabashvalleydance.org.

Wabash County Museum’s Thursday Parlay

Join us for another rendition of our “Thursday Parlay” as speaker Ray Boomhower, editor of Indiana Historical Society’s magazine, transports us back to 1967 as he talks about Gus Grissom and Apollo 1.

“The Thursday Parlay” will take place in the Porter Room at the Wabash County Museum from 10:00 am to 11:30am on May the 4th. Refreshments are provided by our sponsor, Bob Evans Restaurant, and will take place with conversation from 10 – 10:30 am, followed by the presentation. Hurry and RSVP to secure your spot before liftoff and May the 4th be with you.

Wabash River Run Club

Wabash Community Event

Open to anyone who would like to enjoy a weekly run and get in a little training and social time. Free and for all ages and running levels. Please meet at Alley Cat Outfitters at 100 Berry St, Wabash. Arrive by 7:45 AM with feet hitting the street at 8 AM sharp. Whether you are training for the Wabash – Run the River Half Marathon, on June 10, or just want to run for fun, these weekly runs are meant to bring people together over the love of running.

Liking for Biking Club

Open to anyone who would like to enjoy a weekly 60-minute group ride. Free and for all ages and riding levels. Helmets are required and no registration is needed. Check the Band App/WABASH COUNTY ADVENTURE SERIES FACEBOOK page for weekly start locations. Arrive by 8:45 AM with wheels rolling at 9 AM sharp.
Spikes and Bikes is a local bike club that volunteers their time to lead each of the weekly rides. They are a group of outdoor adventure enthusiasts who like to connect people with cycling in a fun and energetic environment.
All participants will receive a Liking for Biking t-shirt and will be given the opportunity to earn incentives for regular attendance. Attendance is tracked using the Band App. Weekly check-ins are required on the app in order to qualify for the incentive gifts.

Mike Almon

Wabash Community Event

With more than 300 shows scheduled each year, Mike Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14. This year he plans to release his first studio-recorded album “Had a Good Run” featuring a mix of his originals, along with two bonus track parodies “Last Fence” and “Detour Land.”
