The 17th season of the Downtown Wabash Farmers Market is officially almost over. While our Market season is only 20 weeks long, many of our regular vendors sell their products year-round, or have similar products to what they sell in-season. Jared and Erica Cordes first planted their blackberry field in the spring 2013 and harvested their first crop the following year. The Cordes Berry Farm offers sweet, juicy and totally massive blackberries and fresh, small-patch strawberries each year. Anyone can schedule a time to pick berries while in-season and even participate in their annual Strawberry Shortcake Ride! In the off-season, they sell blackberries in one-pound bags and 5 gallon buckets of blackberries for customers wanting to craft wines and fruit beers.
