2025 Annual Report

As we reflect on 2025, we are proud to share a year filled with growth, collaboration, and meaningful progress in Downtown Wabash. This past year brought new opportunities to strengthen our community, support local businesses, and create vibrant experiences for residents and visitors alike.

From signature events and beautification efforts to business support and volunteer engagement, every initiative was driven by a shared commitment to making downtown a place where people want to gather, invest, and belong. None of this would be possible without the continued support of our partners, volunteers, business owners, and community members.

This report highlights the impact of our work over the past year, celebrates key accomplishments, and looks ahead to the future of Downtown Wabash. Thank you for being part of the journey.

2026 DWI Board of Directors

Downtown Wabash is proud to introduce its 2026 Board of Directors, a dedicated group of community leaders committed to supporting the continued growth, vibrancy, and success of downtown Wabash.

The 2026 board brings together a diverse mix of business owners, professionals, and community advocates who share a passion for strengthening the downtown district. Their leadership will guide Downtown Wabash’s efforts in event programming, beautification, economic development, and small business support throughout the coming year.

We’re excited to welcome several talented leaders to our organization:

• Please join us in welcoming Megan Callahan, David Nelson, Carli Henderson and Jim Widner to the 2026 Board of Directors.

Megan (Beacon Credit Union-Vice President of Lending) contributes extensive experience and knowledge in finance. Carli, as a small business owner in the downtown district, offers meaningful insight into the needs and perspectives of the business community. Jim; retired from commercial banking, is a dedicated community volunteer. Contributing his knowledge of finance to support operations and growth. Each of these individuals bring valuable experience and enthusiasm, and we’re grateful to have them involved as we continue moving our mission forward.

“Our board members play a vital role in shaping the future of downtown,” said Kara Fulmer, Board President. “Their time, expertise, and enthusiasm help drive initiatives that make downtown Wabash a welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.”
