Shaun Boothe celebrates diversity and encourages empathy and humanity while honoring the greatest cultural icons of our times including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Barack Obama, Malala Yousafzai, and Muhammad Ali. Shaun uses biographical rap songs to celebrate and examine the lives of these most influential human rights and social justice activists. Shaun’s message is shared using one of the most powerful tools we have to bring people together during such challenging times – MUSIC! Student matinees are held during the school day as field trip opportunities, but are open to the public as well. Shows at 10am and 12pm.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds

For over 30 years, The Fabulous Thunderbirds have embodied the essence of an American band. With a distinctive and powerful sound influenced by various musical styles, the group has created a unique hybrid, producing hits like “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up.” Co-founder Kim Wilson (lead vocals, harmonica) remains the sole original member, joined by Johnny Moeller (guitar), Bob Welsh (piano, guitar), Rudy Albin (drums), and Steve Kirsty (bass). Together, they deliver an energized fusion of blues, rock and roll, and R&B.

A Grand Time

For the eighth time in just over 30 years, A Grand Time will feature nearly 100 pianists taking their turn on stage, with as many as 24 playing simultaneously on 12 grand pianos for a marvel of musical virtuosity. First performed at the Honeywell Center in 1990, A Grand Time is led by Philadelphia-based pianist/conductor Norma Meyer.
