    Wabash Community Event

    Honeywell Arts Academy Resonance scholars are at the intersection of the pristine technical training of classical musicians and cross-genre fluidity, resulting in an indescribable musical experience. Resonance features faculty mentors Pianist Peter Dugan and members of the GRAMMY-winning trio Time for Three – Nicolas Kendall, Charles Yang, and Ranaan Meyer. Concluding the performance, guests are invited to a meet and greet reception to mingle with the artists and faculty mentors.

    In “Embodied Echoes,” artists Ramiro Rodriguez and Laurie Rousseau converge to weave narratives of heritage, memory, and the sanctity of life into a cohesive exploration of printmaking. Rodriguez’s prints resonate with familial tales and cultural fragments, echoing the struggles and wisdom embedded within his upbringing. Through a spectrum of techniques—from the stark lines of relief prints to the fluidity of monotypes—Rodriguez invites viewers to delve into the complexities of language, identity, and the immigrant experience.

    Honeywell Summer Campers in grades 1-4 will present this entertaining musical that not only celebrates the sport of soccer, but also the value of sportsmanship, setting goals, and being part of a team.

    Honeywell Summer Plaza Music Series – OK Boomer

    FREE outdoor concerts on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 pm on the Carpenter Plaza at the Honeywell Center. The Plaza will be full of activity including a live band, a craft project for kids, local food trucks, and a beer garden. Don’t forget a lawn chair or blanket!

    It’s Harry’s third year at Hogwarts; not only does he have a new “Defense Against the Dark Arts” teacher, but there is also trouble brewing. Convicted murderer Sirius Black has escaped the Wizards’ Prison and is coming after Harry.

    Soundboard Live

    Honeywell Arts Academy Soundboard scholars are international pianists with a focus on standard repertoire. Soundboard is led by faculty mentors Matti Raekaillo and Peter Dugan as they stretch these classically trained musicians’ boundaries to include jazz, funk, and more. Concluding the performance, guests are invited to a meet and greet reception to mingle with the artists and faculty mentors.

    Hoosier Shakes’ mission is to reveal the delight of Shakespeare’s theatre, language, and ideas by producing accessible, quality performances for the audiences of eastern Indiana and beyond and by providing not only exceptional, but also developmental experiences for students, and guest professionals.
