Bring your friends and family out to cheer on runners for the Wabash Run the River 5K | 10K | and Half Marathon. This is a family friendly event which will run parallel with the evening race. The Run the River race will kick off at 5:30 pm on Miami Street.

The Block Party will feature a DJ, food trucks, children activities, and plenty of public seating!

The event takes place RAIN OR SHINE with no inclement weather back-up date. The Director of Wabash County Emergency Management monitors the weather conditions closely. Should the event need to be canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, a notification will appear on the website and pushed via the Wabash County Adventure Series Facebook page. Please note that no refunds are able to be issued due to the advance purchase of hospitality services and support resources.

The run course will mainly be on Wabash County’s newly developed paved Wabash River Trail. This trail will be the return route as well, so be sure to stay to the right when running!

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments provided. The event will officially begin with special guest speakers presenting at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Q&A forum for those in attendance. Special guests include Wabash County Solid Waste Management District Executive Director Jen Rankin, Wabash River Defenders, and Mayor Scott Long.
