The evening will be full of laughter and holiday cheer as Garrison Keillor takes the stage with vocalist Heather Masse and pianist Richard Dworsky. A beginner friendly acrylic painting workshop where you will be guided through the making of your own winter landscape. Danielle will take you through the whole process, working through the composition of a serene scene, complete with snow. All students will work with the same photo reference, but students will be encouraged to interpret the scene in their own individual way.

Influenced by an eclectic mix, from The Beatles and Karen Carpenter, to Lauren Hill and John Mayer, singer songwriter with a pop-soul flair, Abbie Thomas mixes catchy melodies with hard-hitting, life inspired lyrics. She was a songwriting finalist at The Acorn Theater in June 2019, and is now building a resume as an opening act for touring musicians (ex. Callaghan, Billy Gilman). Thomas released her first of a series of singles, “Those 3 Words” in April 2020, available on iTunes and Spotify. In May 2022, she released her first self-produced EP “Dirty Little Things.”

Wabash Community Band Christmas Concert
The 42 member Wabash Community Band draws members from 3 counties. They will perform their annual Christmas concert at Winchester Senior Center, 239 Bond Street in Wabash which is the home of the band.
The one-hour concert is family friendly for all ages.

Grades K-1 Skill level: beginner Instructors: Lindsay and Lisa Rice Mondays from 4:30-5:15 pm Oct. 23-Dec. 18 – Eagles Theatre $80 per child Description: Our youngest artists will explore the performing arts and grow their creativity through theatre games that inspire movement, imagination and play. Classes encourage collaboration, social and early literacy skills.
