Class: Mixed Media Exploration

Students will explore sculpture, color, and a variety of media in connection with contemporary and modern artists. Students will build independent thinking, collaboration, and gross-motor skills through this introduction to the creative process. Grades 4-7.

Class: Leaded Stained Glass

Wabash Community Event

Experience the oldest method of stained glass construction as you create a moderate sized hanging panel. Review glass cutting and shaping basics and learn the lead cane construction method to build a beautiful stained glass panel. Several patterns will be provided as well as many attractive glass colors. Finished piece will be between 10×10 and 11×14 depending on the pattern chosen. Previous experience is required. Ages 18+

Mike Almon

With more than 300 shows scheduled each year, Mike Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14. This year he plans to release his first studio-recorded album “Had a Good Run” featuring a mix of his originals, along with two bonus track parodies “Last Fence” and “Detour Land.”

Embodied Echoes Exhibit

In “Embodied Echoes,” artists Ramiro Rodriguez and Laurie Rousseau converge to weave narratives of heritage, memory, and the sanctity of life into a cohesive exploration of printmaking. Rodriguez’s prints resonate with familial tales and cultural fragments, echoing the struggles and wisdom embedded within his upbringing. Through a spectrum of techniques—from the stark lines of relief prints to the fluidity of monotypes—Rodriguez invites viewers to delve into the complexities of language, identity, and the immigrant experience.

Eugenia’s Parlor Music Series- Violinist Sherry Hong & Pianist Ryan Behan

Sherry has performed as a member of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s first violin section since 2007, and as Acting Associate Principal Second Violin since February 2022. Ryan is the Assistant Professor of Piano and Director of Keyboard Studies at the University of Indianapolis. Following the concert, mingle with Sherry and other guests while you enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
