Take a glimpse into history from the interpretive naturalists of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services. Enjoy a spotlight on one facet of the rich history at Salamonie and Mississinewa Lakes presented by one of the local State Park employees, Teresa Rody. “The Thursday Parlay” will take place from 10-11:30 am on Thursday, February 15th. This is a free event although RSVPs on our website are encouraged!

Mezzo-soprano Mackenzie Sheridan will present a program of classical vocal music. Mackenzie is a graduate of Wabash High School and is currently a student at Manchester University where she is studying voice with Dr. Debra Lynn. Mackenzie’s recital will include art songs and arias. David Hupp will be her accompanist.

Naturally 7 members transform their voices into actual human instruments, effortlessly producing music of any genre. Their sonic mastery was on full display in a series of unforgettable performances on The World’s Best TV show hosted by comedian James Corden. The group has performed three world tours and nearly 500 shows alongside artists like Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and more. Their latest album, 20/20, adds a fresh spin on 20 fan-favorite songs selected by fans worldwide.

The StepCrew

The StepCrew combines three styles of exhilarating dance forms – Ottawa Valley stepdance, Irish stepdance, and Tap. With virtuosic dancers and musicians from The Chieftains, Cherish The Ladies, and Bowfire, this cast of outstanding talent takes you on a dance journey as champions in their respective art forms, showing audiences the similarities and differences between these three captivating styles.

Ms. Greer’s classroom includes three inquisitive out-of-the-box thinkers. Rosie Revere has big dreams. Iggy Peck has a relentless passion for architecture. And Ada Twist’s curiosity can lead her to solve any problem. This is a fun musical based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer; Iggy Peck, Architect; and Ada Twist Scientist by Andrea Beaty, which spotlights the STEM curriculum (science, technology, engineering and math). Student matinees are held during the school day as field trip opportunities, but are open to the public as well.
