Class: Tiny Music Makers

Wabash Community Event

A mixed-age, bilingual music class with traditional folk songs from Spanish-speaking countries around the world. This class is full of movement, interaction, and musical play with shakers, drums, and other instruments and is designed for both Spanish and non-Spanish speakers alike.

Los niños participarán con el movimiento, interacción y juegos musicales con maracas, tambores y otros instrumentos del mundo. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”

Abbie Thomas

Wabash Community Event

Influenced by an eclectic mix, from The Beatles and Karen Carpenter, to Lauren Hill and John Mayer, singer songwriter with a pop-soul flair, Abbie Thomas mixes catchy melodies with hard-hitting, life inspired lyrics. She was a songwriting finalist at The Acorn Theater in June 2019, and is now building a resume as an opening act for touring musicians (ex. Callaghan, Billy Gilman). Thomas released her first of a series of singles, “Those 3 Words” in April 2020, available on iTunes and Spotify. In May 2022, she released her first self-produced EP “Dirty Little Things.”

Wabash County Museum’s Thursday Parlay

In support and recognition of the military heroes who fought for our country in battle, the Museum will welcome Larry Powell, a lifelong Wabash County resident and Vietnam Veteran. Larry will be sharing the history of the conflict and some of his personal experiences.

Join us at the Wabash County Museum from 10 – 11:30 am for treats and coffee provided by our sponsor, Bob Evans Restaurant, for conversation followed by Larry’s message.
