Take the stage and bring stories to life! This engaging class focuses on building acting skills through games, scenes, and character work, while also giving students a taste of the creative process with fun, hands-on activities in props, costumes, and design. Ages 8-12 years old. Every Tuesday.

Annual Fine Art Competition Exhibit

The Annual Fine Art Competition showcases outstanding artwork from artists across the country. Open to artists working in a variety of mediums, the competition provides a platform for both emerging and established artists to share their work. The competition features diverse styles – from traditional landscapes to contemporary expressions – reflecting the depth and breadth of today’s visual arts.

Workshop: String Art Mono-Prints

Wabash Community Event

Kids ages 5 and up will dip colorful string into paint and use it to create one‑of‑a‑kind prints on paper—pressing and pulling the string to reveal swirling, abstract designs that are as surprising as they are beautiful. This hands‑on project sparks creativity and joyful exploration of color and pattern.
Children under 12 should bring an adult to join the fun, but only the young artist needs to be registered.
All supplies will be provided.

Workshop: Needle Felted Sunset Landscape

Wabash Community Event

Learn how to “paint” with wool as you craft a needle-felted landscape full of texture and vibrant color blends. In this guided workshop, you’ll explore layering techniques, shaping details, and bringing depth to your scene using simple tools and natural fibers. Your finished artwork will measure about 8×8.
All supplies will be provided.

Jake Bunnell with special guest McKayla Bunnell

Jake Bunnell, a Wabash native, recently returned to his hometown after spending more than a decade in Nashville, TN. During his time there, he built a successful career as a professional guitarist, performing and recording with national touring artists. His work has taken him to iconic stages, including the Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, among many others across the country. For this live performance, Jake will be joined by his wife, McKayla.

Complaint Department & Lemonade Dinner Theater

The Nursing Home residents are at it again! They now have their own Complaint Department—and you’re invited to see what they’re up to this time.

Complaint Department and Lemonade by Kamron Klitgaard is a hilarious, fast‑paced one‑act play featuring a revolving door of quirky characters with bizarre grievances—from Oreo icing to cheese prices to kleptomania. Each complaint becomes more absurd than the last, keeping the audience entertained as every character gets their moment in the spotlight.
