An Evening With Beatrix

Skip the usual Valentine’s Day routine and enjoy an evening with Beatrix, featuring the rising star’s raw emotion, darkly poetic lyrics, and haunting piano-driven melodies. The Parkview Ballroom will be transformed into a club-like atmosphere with table seating, intimate lighting, and cocktails and desserts available for purchase. Treat your Valentine or gather a group. Come early to mingle!

Beatrix delves into the disorienting experiences of growing up, love, fear, and life’s uncertainties. Her sound is defined by powerful yet delicate vocals, conveying a depth of feeling, rarely found in contemporary music. Beatrix’s debut album Vertigo illustrates the balance between falling in love and the fear of vulnerability, using circus imagery to depict her emotional tightrope walk. She is an alumni of the Honeywell Arts Academy and is now based in Los Angeles as she embarks on a flourishing solo career.

A Year with Frog & Toad

A Honeywell Arts In Education Student Matinee
Based on the beloved children’s books and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, A Year with Frog & Toad is an enchanting experience. This whimsical musical follows two friends – the cheerful Frog and curmudgeon Toad – through four seasons, meeting new friends along the way. Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way as they celebrate their differences that make them unique and special. Student matinees are held during the school day as field trip opportunities, but are open to the public as well. Shows at 10am and 12pm.

The Barricade Boys

The Barricade Boys are taking the world by storm with their electrifying show that will have you belting out your favorite tunes and grinning from ear to ear. From the heart-wrenching emotion of Les Misérables to the toe-tapping harmonies of the Jersey Boys and a mix of the greatest pop, rock, swing, and Motown hits of all time, The Barricade Boys create the ultimate Broadway Party musical mashup. The performers will also share hilarious and inspiring stories from their time on stage.

Chapman is known for hits like “Cinderella,” “I Will Be Here,” and “The Great Adventure.” He has collaborated with artists like Amy Grant, Casting Crowns, Brad Paisley, and more. His newest album, Still, includes the number-one hit “Don’t Lose Heart.”

History of the Iconic St. Elmo Steak House

How is a famous Indiana steak house known for shrimp cocktail? Chris Ratay, Honeywell Vice President of Hospitality and former General Manager of St. Elmo, will take guests through the history, beginning in 1902 through his personal journey which included managing the restaurant during the 2012 NFL Super Bowl in Indianapolis. The evening will include, of course, “the” sinus-clearing experience! $10 includes a two-piece shrimp cocktail.

Son of a Gun: Tribute to Guns N’ Roses

Son of a Gun, the Guns N’ Roses tribute band, has performed across the United States for over five years. Featuring Ari Kamin, frontman from Steven Adler’s (Guns N’ Roses) solo band, the band will perform hits like “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “November Rain,” and more.

Michael Shofi and Sofie Zamchick

Honeywell Arts Academy alumni Sofie and Michael will present an evening of songs and connection. Each June, the Academy gathers emerging musical leaders together in Wabash. These two alumni will perform an intimate, living room style performance, the way music has been shared for hundreds of years. Free admission, with reservations required due to limited seating.
