In celebration of Kim’s life and artistic talent, we invite you to join us as we honor his legacy. The exhibit will be on display from July 20 through August 20, and will showcase Kim’s work along with pieces from his wife, Margie.

Steve Earle

Steve Earle is best known for his country music and rock ‘n’ roll-tinged “alt-country.” 1986 saw the release of his record, Guitar Town, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Subsequent releases like The Revolution Starts…Now (2004), Washington Square Serenade (2007), and TOWNES (2009) received consecutive GRAMMY Awards. His subsequent albums have been equally successful, with hit singles such as “Copperhead Road” and “Ellis Unit One” topping the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Earle was recently inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Dave Kunkel Cruise-In

The Dave Kunkel Cruise-In is an annual car show in Wabash, Indiana that raises funds for ALS research. This year we are celebrating our 24th year! We will have over 400 cars throughout the weekend. The car show is 3 pm – 9 pm on Friday, August 18th and 9 am – 3 pm on Saturday, August 19th. Registration is open now and the event is free to the public!

Three voices that defined 90s country music will join forces for an explosive night! Aaron Tippin garnered hits like “You’ve Got to Stand for Something,” “I Wouldn’t Have it Any Other Way,” and “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You.” Sammy Kershaw’s top songs include “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “I Can’t Reach Her Anymore,” and “Cadillac Style.” Collin Raye’s soulful delivery shines through in singles “Love Me,” “In this Life,” and “My Kind of Girl.”

Cade Wolter is an agent who represents various songwriters and producers. He received two gold records for albums he’s associated with including Elton John’s The Lockdown Sessions. He recently
moved to Wabash from Los Angeles and will talk about his career and what brought him to Wabash.

Yoga Flow Class: All Skill Levels Welcome

Wabash Community Event

An instructor from Fusion Yoga, Fort Wayne travels to teach a yoga flow class for all levels of participants. It is held upstairs in the studio of Wabash Valley Dance Theater (58 W. Canal St. Wabash, IN).

It is $20 drop-in or $60 monthly fee. You can pay cash or online at www.wabashvalleydance.org.
