With more than 300 shows scheduled each year, Mike Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14. This year he plans to release his first studio-recorded album “Had a Good Run” featuring a mix of his originals, along with two bonus track parodies “Last Fence” and “Detour Land.”

The Purple Xperience is a five-piece group that presents the greatest and most authentic production of a Prince and The Revolution concert. Lead singer Marshall Charloff recreates the magic of Prince with the fashion, vocals, and even the multi-instrumental talent of the late legend.

This new outreach ensemble of the Manchester Symphony Orchestra is comprised of Kristin Westover, violin; Joyce Dubach, violin; Margaret Sklenar, viola; and Robert Lynn, cello. The quartet will perform a variety of selections from the mid-1500s to the late 1880s. With a bit of opera, a dash of folk music, and a dance or two, you will take a tour through music history without leaving town.

Dakota Ray Parker performs many varieties of music including classic country (Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash), some classic rock (Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen), Folk music (The Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan, Tom T Hall), Elvis Presley, Adele, Justin Bieber and so much more. He also writes his own music with more than 35 original songs. He won The Voice of Wabash County in 2018 and opened for Aaron Barker at the Eagles Theater.

Honeywell Arts Academy alumni Arielle Kasnetz and Alyssa Smith reunite to perform an evening of selections from each performers’ favorite repertoire. Vocalist Arielle is from New Jersey and currently living in Los Angeles, while pianist and Wisconsin native Alyssa is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation from the University of Michigan. The evening will consist of a plethora of original music and standards from the jazz lexicon.

Menu: black eyed pea salad with champagne vinaigrette over Bibb lettuce; beef filet with polenta and wild mushroom jus; green beans with pine nuts; and crème brûlée for dessert. Wabash Area Community Theater presents Suite Surrender a farce by Michael McKeever. It’s 1942, and the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel is under seige as two of Hollywood’s biggest divas vie for the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, double entendres, and one pampered little lap dog round out this hilarious riot of a love note to the classic farces of the 30s and 40s.
