Back-to-School Bash: The school year may be approaching but summer isn’t over! End the summer in Downtown Wabash with the classic jam-packed, family-friendly First Friday event focused on teachers and students.
Enjoy a free concert, ‘Prevent, Recover & Rock Together!’ on Miami Street, presented by Grace Fellowship Church, area churches, private donations and the Wabash County Drug Prevention Coalition Committee.
- 5-8 p.m.: ‘Prevent, Recover & Rock Together’ performances by Nicky Gracious and 2:8 Ministries will be on Miami Street
- 7-9 p.m.: Vendor booths will be inside the Eagles Theatre lobby
- 7-8:30 p.m.: Special guest Billy Ballenger will share his recovery story in music at Eagles Theatre
- 8:30-9 p.m.: Meet-and-Greet with Billy Ballenger, Cody Knuckles & John Humphries
In addition to live music on Miami Street, First Friday will span the entire downtown district with kid-friendly activities, vendors and food trucks at Paradise Spring Historical Park, boutique shopping specials throughout, free rides on Trolley No. 85 provided by Beacon Credit Union, more food trucks throughout downtown and drinks and dining specials in local restaurants.

Papel picado, or, perforated paper or pecked paper, is a traditional Mexican decorative craft made by cutting elaborate designs into sheets of tissue paper. This is also a form of traditional folk art!
