Unlimited creativity is encouraged\, and all media will be accepted. \nThe theme for 2026 is “Windows.” Whether appreciating beautiful architecture\, a favorite view\, or the metaphorical windows to the soul\, artists are encouraged to use this theme to give the audience a peek into their unique world. \nSubmissions will be accepted in person at the Honeywell Center on Jul 6\, 2026. \nOn display July 9-Aug. 12

DESCRIPTION:Photographing Your Artwork for Submissions and Portfolios \nStrong artwork deserves strong documentation. In this hands-on workshop\, artists will learn practical techniques for photographing their work clearly and accurately for online competition submissions\, portfolios\, and personal record keeping. \nThis workshop will focus on photographing 2D artwork and will cover lighting\, camera setup\, image clarity\, color balance\, cropping\, and common mistakes that can make artwork look less polished or simply different than it does in person. \nParticipants should bring the camera they normally use\, whether that is a smartphone\, digital camera\, or tablet. This workshop will focus on unframed 2D pieces. Framed artwork with glass will not be covered in this session. \nArtists will leave with a better understanding of how to create clean\, accurate images for applications\, portfolios\, websites\, and long-term documentation.
