Wabash County Museum’s Thursday Parlay

Join us for refreshments provided by our sponsor, Bob Evans restaurant, while our guest speaker, Elizabeth Macinata, talks about how Wabash prepared her father, Dan Myers, an engineer for the Service Motor Trucks company, for the 15 years that he spent in China teaching engineering and helping them develop a similar vehicle.

Frank Bradford

Frank Bradford is a musician and singer who has played in many legendary Indiana based acts. He has played with The Wright Brothers, Carl Storie and has been guest Lead Vocalist for Roadmaster. He continues to play 175+ solo performances a year throughout the state and delivers a variety of music from Classic Rock to Modern Pop.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show – Darkside 50 Tour

Performing the music of Pink Floyd with note-for-note perfection, this critically-acclaimed show has been astonishing audiences for more than three decades. Always striving to reproduce the complete Pink Floyd experience and bring the music to new audiences, the show continues to include a stunning light and laser show, video animations, high-resolution LED screens, and other special effects. In true Pink Floyd fashion, there are several huge inflatables, including a giant pig and their own unique pink kangaroo.

Whose Live Anyway?

WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song, all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show, so bring your suggestions, and you might be asked to join the cast onstage! WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show as well as some exciting new ones featuring musical direction by Bob Derkach. All ages are welcome, but please note that some PG-13 language will be used during the performance.

Join us at the Museum for the 2nd annual “Museum Under the Stars” event. Enjoy music, dancing, food, and more under the stars on East Market Street at this limited seating, ticketed event. In addition to the excitement outside, guests will get a first-look VIP opportunity to browse and shop at vendor booths inside the Museum.

His lyrics to “Mary Did You Know?” resulted in one of the most loved modern Christmas songs of this century. He has spent more than 20 collective years as the baritone singer for the Grammy award-winning Gaither Vocal Band. His gift for communicating profound truths through music and storytelling keeps audiences of all ages on the edge of their seats.

Join us as we invite all pickleball enthusiasts to our 2023 Wabash County YMCA Round Robin Pickleball Tournament! TOP TWO PLAYERS will ride in the Founder’s Festival Parade at 2:45 pm. *All participants must fill out the Facility Waiver and Photo Release form prior to participation. Financial assistance available.

Awards for top finishers & MVP trophy voted by participants. Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles; and 8 minute games, or first to 11 points. Includes dri-fit t-shirt & lunch, must register by Sept. 1 to be guaranteed a shirt.

Dakota Ray Parker performs many varieties of music including classic country (Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash), some classic rock (Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen), Folk music (The Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan, Tom T Hall), Elvis Presley, Adele, Justin Bieber and so much more. He also writes his own music with more than 35 original songs. He won The Voice of Wabash County in 2018 and opened for Aaron Barker at the Eagles Theater.
