Wabash Community Event
Open to anyone who would like to enjoy a weekly run and get in a little training and social time. Free and for all ages and running levels. Please meet at Alley Cat Outfitters at 100 Berry St, Wabash. Arrive by 7:45 AM with feet hitting the street at 8 AM sharp. Whether you are training for the Wabash – Run the River Half Marathon, on June 10, or just want to run for fun, these weekly runs are meant to bring people together over the love of running.

Open to anyone who would like to enjoy a weekly 60-minute group ride. Free and for all ages and riding levels. Helmets are required and no registration is needed. Check the Band App/WABASH COUNTY ADVENTURE SERIES FACEBOOK page for weekly start locations. Arrive by 8:45 AM with wheels rolling at 9 AM sharp.
Spikes and Bikes is a local bike club that volunteers their time to lead each of the weekly rides. They are a group of outdoor adventure enthusiasts who like to connect people with cycling in a fun and energetic environment.
All participants will receive a Liking for Biking t-shirt and will be given the opportunity to earn incentives for regular attendance. Attendance is tracked using the Band App. Weekly check-ins are required on the app in order to qualify for the incentive gifts.

With more than 300 shows scheduled each year, Mike Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14. This year he plans to release his first studio-recorded album “Had a Good Run” featuring a mix of his originals, along with two bonus track parodies “Last Fence” and “Detour Land.”

Dakota Ray Parker performs many varieties of music including classic country (Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash), some classic rock (Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen), Folk music (The Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan, Tom T Hall), Elvis Presley, Adele, Justin Bieber and so much more. He also writes his own music with more than 35 original songs. He won The Voice of Wabash County in 2018 and opened for Aaron Barker at the Eagles Theater.

Award-winning actor and director Frank Ferrante ignites his acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in this fast paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the funniest Groucho one-liners, anecdotes and songs including “Hooray for Captain Spalding,” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.” The audience becomes part of the show as Ferrante ad-libs his way throughout the performance in grand Groucho style. Accompanied by his onstage pianist, Ferrante portrays the young Groucho of stage and film and reacquaints us with the likes of brothers Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Gummo, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields and Marx foil Margaret Dumont. A show perfect for comedy fans of all ages!
