Frank Ferrante in An Evening with Groucho

Award-winning actor and director Frank Ferrante ignites his acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in this fast paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the funniest Groucho one-liners, anecdotes and songs including “Hooray for Captain Spalding,” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.” The audience becomes part of the show as Ferrante ad-libs his way throughout the performance in grand Groucho style. Accompanied by his onstage pianist, Ferrante portrays the young Groucho of stage and film and reacquaints us with the likes of brothers Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Gummo, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields and Marx foil Margaret Dumont. A show perfect for comedy fans of all ages!

Yoga Flow Class: All Skill Levels Welcome

An instructor from Fusion Yoga, Fort Wayne travels to teach a yoga flow class for all levels of participants. It is held upstairs in the studio of Wabash Valley Dance Theater (58 W. Canal St. Wabash, IN).

It is $20 drop-in or $60 monthly fee. You can pay cash or online at www.wabashvalleydance.org.

Please meet at Alley Cat Outfitters at 100 Berry St, Wabash. Arrive by 7:45 AM with feet hitting the street at 8 AM sharp. Whether you are training for the Wabash – Run the River Half Marathon, on June 10, or just want to run for fun, these weekly runs are meant to bring people together over the love of running.

Wabash County Museum’s Thursday Parlay

Gene Stratton-Porter, from Lagro, Indiana, was a naturalist, photographer, and well-known author who wrote “Freckles”, “A Girl of the Limberlost” and many other novels. Join us for our Thursday Parlay in the Wabash County Museum Porter Room from 10 – 11:30 am on June 1 to hear our featured speaker, historian and first-person interpreter Glory Greiff, while enjoying coffee and treats provided by our sponsor, Bob Evans Restaurant.
