Hoosier Shakes’ mission is to reveal the delight of Shakespeare’s theatre, language, and ideas by producing accessible, quality performances for the audiences of eastern Indiana and beyond and by providing not only exceptional, but also developmental experiences for students, and guest professionals.

FREE outdoor concerts on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 pm on the Carpenter Plaza at the Honeywell Center. The Plaza will be full of activity including a live band, a craft project for kids, local food trucks, and a beer garden. Don’t forget a lawn chair or blanket!

Honeywell Summer Campers in grades 5-8 will present a musical based on the famous story of candy maker Willy Wonka. The story follows Wonka as he hosts a contest where children can win a tour of his whimsical factory and free candy for life!

Honeywell Arts Academy Wabass scholars will dazzle you with the double bass. Faculty mentors Eric Larson, Ranaan Meyer, and Hal Robinson curate a wonderful evening of musicianship and personality. Concluding the performance, guests are invited to a meet and greet reception to mingle with the artists and faculty mentors.

Honeywell Summer Campers in grades 9-12 will transport the audience from Russia to Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman discovers the mystery of her past. She enlists the aid of a dashing con man, and together they embark on an adventure to find home, love, and family.
