Immerse yourself in the world of Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Holiday. The evening will be full of laughter and holiday cheer as Garrison Keillor takes the stage with vocalist Heather Masse and pianist Richard Dworsky. Together, they will share stories and timeless songs that celebrate the essence of love, family, and a Christmas sing-along.
Returning for the second year in a row, the Downtown Wabash Cookie Walk will feature delicious holiday treats to sample from various businesses while you cross off your holiday shopping to-do-list.

A beginner friendly acrylic painting workshop where you will be guided through the making of your own winter landscape. Danielle will take you through the whole process, working through the composition of a serene scene, complete with snow. All students will work with the same photo reference, but students will be encouraged to interpret the scene in their own individual way.

Influenced by an eclectic mix, from The Beatles and Karen Carpenter, to Lauren Hill and John Mayer, singer songwriter with a pop-soul flair, Abbie Thomas mixes catchy melodies with hard-hitting, life inspired lyrics. She was a songwriting finalist at The Acorn Theater in June 2019, and is now building a resume as an opening act for touring musicians (ex. Callaghan, Billy Gilman). Thomas released her first of a series of singles, “Those 3 Words” in April 2020, available on iTunes and Spotify. In May 2022, she released her first self-produced EP “Dirty Little Things.”

Wabash Community Band Christmas Concert
The 42 member Wabash Community Band draws members from 3 counties. They will perform their annual Christmas concert at Winchester Senior Center, 239 Bond Street in Wabash which is the home of the band.
The one-hour concert is family friendly for all ages.

Join Visit Wabash County onboard Trolley No. 85 for a Christmas Adventure that includes storytime with Mrs. Claus, singing carols with Santa Claus, a hot cocoa bar and a live puppet show presented by the Wabash Carnegie Library. Special thanks to New Song Church for providing a magical day filled with holiday memories!

Dakota Ray Parker performs many varieties of music including classic country (Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash), some classic rock (Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen), Folk music (The Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan, Tom T Hall), Elvis Presley, Adele, Justin Bieber and so much more. He also writes his own music with more than 35 original songs. He won The Voice of Wabash County in 2018 and opened for Aaron Barker at the Eagles Theater.
