Honeywell Summer Campers in grades 9-12 will transport the audience from Russia to Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman discovers the mystery of her past. She enlists the aid of a dashing con man, and together they embark on an adventure to find home, love, and family.

Honeywell Summer Campers in grades 5-8 will present a musical based on the famous story of candy maker Willy Wonka. The story follows Wonka as he hosts a contest where children can win a tour of his whimsical factory and free candy for life!

Mrs. Honeywell loved traveling and bringing back interesting mementos. We invite you to share your favorite travel experiences and souvenirs, whether from around Indiana or around the world. Enjoy a dessert prepared by Chef David Ericsson.

FREE outdoor concerts on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 pm on the Carpenter Plaza at the Honeywell Center. The Plaza will be full of activity including a live band, a craft project for kids, local food trucks, and a beer garden. Don’t forget a lawn chair or blanket! The talk is rooted in Ryan’s book on Fort Wayne’s Maumee River and makes the argument that rivers and streams are a repository of—and participant in—community memory. This talk is followed by a workshop session in which attendees will start creating their own “river stories.” Attendees will leave with a new set of lenses and tools for thinking about their relationships to the natural world, using water (and encounters with bodies of water) as an entry point. “The Thursday Parlay” will take place from 10 to 11:30 am on Thursday, July 11th.
