The Thursday Parlay: ACRES Land Trust

Wabash Community Event

Join the Wabash County Museum for coffee and a treat, provided by our sponsor Bob Evans Restaurant. Jason Kissel, Executive Director of ACRES Land Trust, will explore the natural history of Wabash County. Ever wonder why Hanging Rock is “hanging,” how the hill on Hill Street was formed, why there are so many waterfalls in Wabash County, or why we have so many Canadian rocks lying around? Jason will cover these topics and more as we look back into our county’s natural history – and then turn our attention to its future. “The Thursday Parlay” will take place from 10-11:30 am on Thursday, March 7th. This is a free event although RSVPs on our website are encouraged!

Labyrinth (2024)

Wabash Community Event

Frustrated with babysitting on yet another weekend night, Sarah (Jennifer Connelly), a teenager with an active imagination, summons the Goblins to take her baby stepbrother away. When little Toby actually disappears, Sarah must follow him into a fantastical world to rescue him from the Goblin King (David Bowie). Guarding his castle is the labyrinth itself, a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous characters and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah befriends the Goblins, in hopes that their loyalty isn’t just another illusion in a place where nothing is as it seems. This special Fathom’s Big Screen Classics event includes exclusive insight from Leonard Maltin.
