Yoga Flow Class: All Skill Levels Welcome

Wabash Community Event

An instructor from Fusion Yoga, Fort Wayne travels to teach a yoga flow class for all levels of participants. It is held upstairs in the studio of Wabash Valley Dance Theater (58 W. Canal St. Wabash, IN).

It is $20 drop-in or $60 monthly fee. You can pay cash or online at www.wabashvalleydance.org.

Nothing says fall like pumpkins! Join us to create a stylish fall pumpkin with a bit of fabric, stuffing, and embellishments. $10 per person. Spots are limited so buy early!

Jethro Tull’s Martin Barre

In 1969, a band of four English musicians arrived in New York and took America by storm. Over the next 50 years, Jethro Tull accumulated over 65 million record sales and a following of loyal fans. At the center of Jethro Tull’s unique sound is guitarist Martin Barre, renowned for his formidable mastery of historic riffs, power chords, and soaring melodic solos. Martin Barre will celebrate the musical journey of Jethro Tull throughout the decades with an interactive performance including songs from legendary albums like Thick As A Brick, Aqualung, Stand Up, A Passion Play, Heavy Horses, and more.

Spooky Nights: Goosebumps / Little Shop Horrors

Goosebumps: After moving to a new small town, teenage Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) meets the beautiful girl next door, Hannah (Odeya Rush). But every silver lining has a cloud, and Zach’s comes when he learns that Hannah has a mysterious dad who is revealed to be R.L. Stine (Jack Black), the author of the bestselling “Goosebumps” series. There is a reason why Stine is so strange: he is a prisoner of his own imagination, the monsters that his books made famous are real and Stine protects his readers by keeping them locked up in their books. Zach unintentionally unleashes the monsters from their manuscripts and they begin to terrorize the town. It’s up to Stine, Zach, Hannah, and Zach’s friend Champ (Ryan Lee) to put all the monsters back in their books.
Little Shop Horrors: Meek flower shop assistant Seymour (Rick Moranis) pines for co-worker Audrey (Ellen Greene). During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey’s boyfriend, Orin (Steve Martin), to the plant after Orin’s accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant.

In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”

Workshop: Zombie Makeup

Get ready for Halloween! This workshop will teach you techniques to create a zombie look with theatrical makeup, complete with scars, wounds, holes, and fake FX blood. Please note: this workshop is not suitable for those with a latex allergy.

Halloween Cocktail Trolley Tour

Sip the night away on Trolley No.85 with a tour centered around craft Halloween-themed 🎃 cocktails. Start the night at the Welcome Center, and walk to 4 Partners In Crime for an exclusive tour of the upstairs studio 🎨 for the first of many cocktail demonstrations for the evening. Board the Trolley to head to the Lagro Haunted trail where you will be served a cocktail en route. After you get spooked 👻, enjoy a bowl of piping hot chili 🥣 and another speciality drink at the 950 Speakeasy Bistro. Board the Trolley for the final stop of the evening at Moon Dog for the last drink demonstration of the evening! 🍸 Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged!!

Spooky Nights: The Silence of the Lambs / Halloween

The Silence of the Lambs: Jodie Foster stars as Clarice Starling, a top student at the FBI’s training academy. Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn) wants Clarice to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism. Crawford believes that Lecter may have insight into a case and that Starling, as an attractive young woman, may be just the bait to draw him out.
Halloween: Fifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois to kill again. On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six year old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith.

Mike Almon

With more than 300 shows scheduled each year, Mike Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14. This year he plans to release his first studio-recorded album “Had a Good Run” featuring a mix of his originals, along with two bonus track parodies “Last Fence” and “Detour Land.”

Grades K-1 Skill level: beginner Instructors: Lindsay and Lisa Rice Mondays from 4:30-5:15 pm Oct. 23-Dec. 18 – Eagles Theatre $80 per child Description: Our youngest artists will explore the performing arts and grow their creativity through theatre games that inspire movement, imagination and play. Classes encourage collaboration, social and early literacy skills.

A mixed-age, bilingual music class with traditional folk songs from Spanish-speaking countries around the world. This class is full of movement, interaction, and musical play with shakers, drums, and other instruments and is designed for both Spanish and non-Spanish speakers alike.
