Emma Edmonds, War Spy

Storyteller Carol Gebert will present the epic tale of a Canadian woman who dressed as a man to fight for Lincoln’s army during the Civil War. The story performed is based on Emma’s book and other Civil War stories to create a solid tale of what a soldier’s life was like while hiding her gender.

Workshop: Stained Glass, Beginner Level

Create a beautiful piece of art using stained glass techniques. You’ll learn how to score, break, and shape colorful pieces of glass to create a beautiful decorative item. All students will make the same design. A variety of color options will be available. Ages 13+

Mike Almon

With more than 300 shows scheduled each year, Mike Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14. This year he plans to release his first studio-recorded album “Had a Good Run” featuring a mix of his originals, along with two bonus track parodies “Last Fence” and “Detour Land.”

Workshop: Stained Glass, Intermediate Level

Wabash Community Event

Create a beautiful piece of art using stained glass techniques. Build on your stained glass skills with this more advanced design to create a beautiful decorative item. All students will be able to select their own colors and will work from the same pattern. Ages 18+

This workshop takes places over two sessions. Saturday 10a-1p & Sunday 2p-5p.

This class requires that you purchase a “class pass” or “multi pass”.
Once you have purchased the pass, which is sort of like digital punch card, you will need to register for the individual days you plan on attending.

Integrating art making with art history, each session is focused on identifying and stimulating children’s artistic abilities. We’ll draw, paint, and create nature and abstract art using a variety of techniques and materials. Grades 1-3.
