Jeff Galley, Wabash County Museum’s Curator, will explore the history of the Museum’s armory by highlighting its artifacts, origins, and the stories behind this unique collection. He began his career teaching history, later served as Wabash High School’s Vice Principal for several years, and currently teaches student media and civics. “The Thursday Parlay” will take place from 10 to 11:30 am on Thursday, September 4th. This is a free event brought to you by the Wabash County Museum.

Join us at the Museum on September’s First Friday for the Little Miss & Mister Wabash County Pageant. Contestants must be Wabash County residents and between the ages of 4 – 7 on the date of the pageant. Winning contestants will ride in the Wabash County Founders Fest Parade.

It’s not a concert, it’s a party! Spend a nostalgic evening saluting three of the world’s most beloved musical groups, who were instrumental in creating the Rock & Roll and Doo Wop sound. The Drifters (“This Magic Moment”), The Platters (“Only You”), and Cornell Gunter’s Coasters (“Yakety Yak”) have been associated with over forty of the top classic songs in Rock & Roll history, delivering their hits the same way you remember hearing them on the radio.

D2D has always been designed by cyclists for cyclists. Beginning at the grassroots level in 2010, the event has always focused on the rider experience. Your registration includes breakfast, lunch, a free commemorative t-shirt, SAG stops, and clothing pickup!
Alley Cat Outfitters from Wabash, Indiana will be providing mechanical support for our ride should you need any minor repairs or services. The D2D route map in your registration packet shows all SAG stop locations, found approximately every 15-20 miles. SAG stops will be open for a set time only, so check your map for times of operation.

Fire Line Productions of Wabash features local talent in this production of Arsenic and Old Lace, a delightfully dark comedy by Joseph Kesselring. This hilarious, fast-paced play follows the charmingly eccentric Brewster sisters, who have a habit of poisoning lonely old men to ‘put them out of their misery.’ When their nephew, Mortimer, discovers their secret, chaos and laughter ensue. A timeless classic filled with wit, unexpected twists, and heartwarming moments.

Join us for sports talk, coffee, and treats provided by our Modoc’s Market. Rick Harness, Steve McClure, Bill Barrows, and Jim Landrum previously broadcasted sports coverage on Oldies 105.9 but will be broadcasting in-person at the Museum during the third Thursday of every month! This July the guys will discuss the The Wabash Athletic Association and its History with Pete Jones. “Talkin’ Sports” will take place from 10 to 11am on Thursday, August 21st. This is a free event brought to you by the Wabash County Museum.
