Annual Fine Art Competition Exhibit

The Annual Fine Art Competition showcases outstanding artwork from artists across the country. Open to artists working in a variety of mediums, the competition provides a platform for both emerging and established artists to share their work. The competition features diverse styles – from traditional landscapes to contemporary expressions – reflecting the depth and breadth of today’s visual arts.

Channel your inner Bob Ross in this oil painting workshop! Using his approachable, joy-filled techniques, you’ll explore blending, brushwork, and happy little details to create a landscape of your own. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a fun, relaxing class where mistakes turn into masterpieces.

All participants will make the design in the activity photo.

Participants ages 12–18 are welcome with an accompanying adult.

Taught by Jen Stafford, a Certified Bob Ross Instructor®.

All supplies will be provided.

Wine & Sweets Tasting Tour

• Cabernet Sauvignon – Freakshow Cabernet (Lodi, CA) paired with Milk Chocolate Meltaways: Bold tannins and cherry notes balanced by creamy chocolate.
• Shiraz – Woop Woop Winery (Australia) paired with Milk Chocolate Raspberry Creams: Blackberry, cassis, and blueberry flavors with soft tannins and bright acidity, complemented by dark chocolate and fruit‑based desserts.

Titus Arko

Wabash Community Event

A lifelong musician with deep roots in Northern Indiana, Titus Arko began studying piano at an early age and was profoundly influenced by years of attending the Elkhart Jazz Festival, where exposure to world-class performers helped shape a keen ear and expressive style. During high school, he spent weekends performing for guests at Elcona Country Club and Christiana Creek Country Club, offering a taste of refined entertainment through live piano. After graduation, Arko pursued formal training at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Since then, he has performed in a wide range of settings—from churches and wedding ceremonies to restaurants, clubs, and private events—bringing versatility and heartfelt musicianship to every occasion. His shows include a rich repertoire that spans The Great American Songbook, classic and modern jazz, pop standards, film themes, and select rock favorites.

Plain White T’s

Wabash Community Event

Since emerging in 1997, the GRAMMY award-nominated multiplatinum Chicago quintet, Plain White T’s, has amassed an enduring, engaging, and enigmatic catalog, spanning two gold-certified offerings All That We Needed (2005) and Every Second Counts (2006) and unshakable anthems such as the double-platinum “1, 2, 3, 4” and platinum “Rhythm of Love.” Among the discography, “Hey There Delilah” went quadruple-platinum, topped the Billboard Hot 100, and earned a pair of 2008 GRAMMY award nominations.

Workshop: String Art Mono-Prints

Kids ages 5 and up will dip colorful string into paint and use it to create one‑of‑a‑kind prints on paper—pressing and pulling the string to reveal swirling, abstract designs that are as surprising as they are beautiful. This hands‑on project sparks creativity and joyful exploration of color and pattern.
Children under 12 should bring an adult to join the fun, but only the young artist needs to be registered.
All supplies will be provided.

Workshop: Needle Felted Sunset Landscape

Wabash Community Event

Learn how to “paint” with wool as you craft a needle-felted landscape full of texture and vibrant color blends. In this guided workshop, you’ll explore layering techniques, shaping details, and bringing depth to your scene using simple tools and natural fibers. Your finished artwork will measure about 8×8.
All supplies will be provided.

Jake Bunnell with special guest McKayla Bunnell

Wabash Community Event

Jake Bunnell, a Wabash native, recently returned to his hometown after spending more than a decade in Nashville, TN. During his time there, he built a successful career as a professional guitarist, performing and recording with national touring artists. His work has taken him to iconic stages, including the Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, among many others across the country. For this live performance, Jake will be joined by his wife, McKayla.
