Wabash Community Event

Free Fallin has delivered Tom Petty’s hits internationally for over 16 years, recreating the authentic concert experience with skilled musicians, instruments, and costumes. With iconic hits like “Free Fallin’,” “American Girl,” and “Refugee,” Tom Petty’s sound is the soundtrack of the 20th century and beyond. Our House celebrates the legacy of Crosby, Stills, and Nash & Young through authentic, heartfelt performances of songs like “Suite Judy Blue Eyes,” “Long Time Gone,” and more.

Arsenic & Old Lace

Fire Line Productions of Wabash features local talent in this production of Arsenic and Old Lace, a delightfully dark comedy by Joseph Kesselring. This hilarious, fast-paced play follows the charmingly eccentric Brewster sisters, who have a habit of poisoning lonely old men to ‘put them out of their misery.’ When their nephew, Mortimer, discovers their secret, chaos and laughter ensue. A timeless classic filled with wit, unexpected twists, and heartwarming moments.

Talkin’ Sports

Join us for sports talk, coffee, and treats provided by our Modoc’s Market. Rick Harness, Steve McClure, Bill Barrows, and Jim Landrum previously broadcasted sports coverage on Oldies 105.9 but will be broadcasting in-person at the Museum during the third Thursday of every month! This July the guys will discuss the The Wabash Athletic Association and its History with Pete Jones. “Talkin’ Sports” will take place from 10 to 11am on Thursday, August 21st. This is a free event brought to you by the Wabash County Museum.

Americana Women

Featuring four multi-instrumentalists from New York City, Americana Women is distinguished by their tight harmonies and sizzling solos. From the classic hits you grew up with to the contemporaries carrying the torch, celebrate the women who define country and folk music like Joan Baez, Dolly Parton, The Chicks, and more. Americana Women honor American folk music from its earliest origins through current country, rock, and folk while also showcasing their original music.

Inflammation and the Aging Brain: A New Understanding

Known for hits like “Known” and “Famous For (I Believe),” he continues to uplift through powerful music and ministry as co-lead pastor of the Church of Whitestone in Austin, Texas.

Museum Under the Stars

This outdoor dining experience and fundraiser will include live music by Alicia Pyle & Stephanie Carlson on a stage provided by McKillip Machinery, dinner, desserts, lemonades by The Sweet Shack, cash bar (including specialty drinks) by The Franklin/Market Street Grill, and lounge-style seating created by Kelli Winer Designs. There may also be a few more surprises!

This year, Museum Under the Stars will support one of our most beloved artifacts: The interior restoration of our 1920s-era Caboose.

Acoustic Voodoo Garden

This four-piece band from Rochester, Indiana is known for an eclectic folk sound and energetic performances. The group features Wabash’s own David Doud and has a local following. The is an outdoor terrace concert. Please note, there will be no rain date. Free admission, with reservations required due to limited seating.

Annual Photography Competition Reception

The Annual Photography Competition is the Clark Gallery’s largest competition, celebrating the art of photography in all forms. Being juried into the show is a notable achievement, with a rigorous selection process that results in an engaging and diverse exhibition. The featured work highlights photography’s unique ability to capture emotion, tell stories, and transform everyday moments into extraordinary art. Over the years, awards have recognized both emerging talents and seasoned professionals, honoring a wide range of creative expression and technical excellence in the field.” Reception is open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated.
