    In support and recognition of the military heroes who fought for our country in battle, the Museum will welcome Larry Powell, a lifelong Wabash County resident and Vietnam Veteran. Larry will be sharing the history of the conflict and some of his personal experiences.

    Join us at the Wabash County Museum from 10 – 11:30 am for treats and coffee provided by our sponsor, Bob Evans Restaurant, for conversation followed by Larry’s message.     B – The Underwater Bubble Show

    B – The Underwater Bubble Show is a visual, musical, and emotional show that transports guests into an imaginary underwater world with a real feeling of being submerged in the ocean deep. The show follows Mr. B, a creature of modern habits who discovers an aquarium that appears like magic inside his briefcase and gradually becomes enchanted by the wondrous underwater world of Bubblelandia, full of seahorses, dragon fish, starfish, mermaids, and other creatures. The visually spectacular show incorporates the latest stage technology with lasers, low-ground smoke, and flying foam, stimulating waves and the underwater atmosphere.

    Shaun Payne is the Site Director of Limberlost State Historic Site. He will talk about the life and legacy of Gene Stratton Porter, with an emphasis on her time growing up in Wabash County, from her childhood in Lagro to a young adult in Wabash, ultimately ending up in Los Angeles. Learn about her written works, award winning photographs, impact on the environment, and her movie career in Hollywood.

    Lunch & Learn – Hanging Twig Holiday Tree

    Pack a lunch and join us on select Wednesdays for fun and free presentations and workshops in the Education and Resource Center.

    Combining foraged plant materials and traditional holiday decorations to create a hanging twig holiday tree! The best part? Switch out decorations and enjoy your creative handiwork all year long. $10 per person. Spots are limited so buy early!

    Get ready for an evening of non-stop laughter as Bored Teachers, the world’s largest entertainment platform for educators, brings together the wittiest teacher-comedians worldwide to a single stage. The Bored Teachers Comedy Tour features renowned teacher comedians Devin Siebold, KC Mack, Tell Williams, and Andrea Caspari with skits that have amassed hundreds of millions of views. They are joining forces for an unforgettable evening. It’s time to set aside those lesson plans, trade in your grading pen for a night, and burn off the stress of the school year. All ages are welcome, but please note that some PG-13 language will be used during the performance.

    Pete the Cat’s Big Hollywood Adventure 10:00am & 12:00pm

    Lights! Camera! Action! When Pete the Cat and his buddy Callie sneak into the Hollywood Studios, they get lost in the world of the movies. Join Pete, Callie, Ethel the Apatosaurus, and Robo-Pete in this rockin’ new musical adventure that features several fun-filled Pete the Cat books including Cavecat Pete, Pete the Cat and the Treasure Map, and The Cool Cat Boogie. Student matinees are held during the school day as field trip opportunities, but are open to the public as well.
