Celebrate the blooming of spring with this special First Friday! Imagine downtown overflowing with vibrant bouquets of flowers, community biking festivities, local shopping & dining and numerous outdoor recreational activities to enjoy!

From a bright bouquet bar to a family bike ride, and everything in between, this First Friday will be one to remember. Mark your calendars and invite family & friends to enjoy this springtime community event.

Wabash First Friday is made possible by Downtown Wabash, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to a downtown district that is vibrant every day and night. Wabash First Fridays in 2024 are presented by MetalX. Additional support for Wabash First Fridays come from Top Level Sponsors: Pettit Printing and 95.9 KISS FM. 

Bike Downtown

Embrace the joy that biking brings to our local community. In collaboration with Visit Wabash County and Liking for Biking, visitors are invited to participate in an exciting ‘Pedal at Paradise’ family bike ride starting at Paradise Spring Park with stops at Alley Cat Outfitters and White Rock Recreation. Families are encouraged to join in on the fun from 5-7:30. Bikes will not be provided, so don’t forget to load up your bikes before heading to downtown! Additional activities at Paradise Spring Park include bike license plate crafts at the Story Walk hosted by Wabash Carnegie Public Library.

Feelin' Floral

You won’t want to leave downtown without a bouquet in-hand! Wooden Ivy Boutique & Floral will be featuring a charming bouquet bar for all to enjoy. Stay tuned for more details about the aesthetic floral feels coming to May First Friday!

Shop Local

From American-made clothing and local artist wares to handcrafted jewelry and up-cycled clothing, there’s something for everyone in Downtown Wabash, Indiana! Take to the 2.5-mile district for a night of shopping and supporting all things local.
