Downtown Wabash will feel like home with lively backyard vibes during July’s First Friday: BBQ in the Bash! With the smell of barbecue on the grill and cornhole bags flying, this First Friday will be one to remember! Bachelor Creek Church will host a cornhole tournament on Miami Street open to all ages. Participants will have the chance to win locally curated prizes while showing off finely-tuned cornhole skills. The event will also feature a concert by The Bulldogs on Market Street hosted by Wabash County Museum and Living Well Downtown, summertime/barbecue-inspired shopping & dining specials, the return of Food Truck Plaza, Miami Street community vendor booths and so much more!
Wabash First Fridays in 2024 are presented by MetalX and Bowen Health Clinic. Additional support for Wabash First Fridays come from Event Partners: Indiana Plain Dealer, Pettit Printing, Wabash Furniture and Flooring, 95.9 KISS FM, Wabash Domino’s and Dynamic Designs by Dyson.
Live Music: The Bulldogs on Market Street
Wabash County Museum and Living Well Downtown will host a concert by The Bulldogs that will take you back to the days of the “Drive In” and the “Sock Hop.” Playing to sold-out audiences throughout the tri-state area, The Bulldogs have been bringing the “Oldies” back for the last 30 years. Expect to hear classics from 1955-1969 with tunes from Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, the Beatles, Wilson Pickett, Chuck Berry, Outsiders, the Monkees, the Moody Blues, Little Richard, Roy Orbison and more!
Food Truck Plaza
During July’s First Friday, Food Truck Plaza will feature several food trucks for visitors to effortlessly access a diverse array of food offerings amidst a lively outdoor atmosphere. Stay tuned to find out which of your favorite food trucks will be located at Food Truck Plaza! Additional Support for Food Truck Plaza comes from Visit Wabash County and the Wabash Parks Department.
