Downtown will transform into a tropical oasis during this special First Friday! Dust off your best Hawaiian shirt and invite your friends to celebrate all things tropical! Join us in welcoming the arrival of spring with luau-inspired activities, shopping specials, unique dining, specialty drinks, fun things to do in downtown and a selfie contest on social media during the event!

Various businesses will participate in the ‘Golden Lei Giveaway’ by randomly selecting one lucky winner to receive a special prize along with $10 Downtown Dollars from Downtown Wabash, Inc. How will you know if you won? If you are a winner, you will find a Golden Lei on your shopping bag, beverage cup, etc. after making a purchase (much like finding a golden ticket in a candy bar!)

Golden Lei Giveaway

Businesses participating in the Golden Lei giveaway will randomly select one lucky winner to receive a special giveaway item along with $10 Downtown Dollars from Downtown Wabash, Inc. that can be spent at various downtown businesses. Golden Lei Giveaway participating businesses include: 4 Partners in Crime, Charley Creek Inn: Wine & Cheese Bar, Bluebird Boutique, Visit Wabash County, Modoc’s Market, JoJo’s Olfactory & Co., The Hungry Heathen and Wabash County Museum. Visit all eight locations for the best shot at finding a Golden Lei with your purchased items!

Smile for a Selfie Contest!

We’re bringing warm weather vibes to Downtown Wabash. Hawaiian shirts are welcome and encouraged to a bring spring break atmosphere to our very own hometown. Show off your luau-inspired style with a selfie contest on social media during the event. Tag WabashFirstFriday and DowntownWabash on Facebook and Instagram. All tags will be shared to Downtown Wabash, Inc.’s social media stories and you will be entered into a drawing following the event to win Downtown Dollars that can be spent at participating downtown businesses.
