Downtown Wabash, Inc. executes more than 40 events every year.

It’s no secret that Wabash First Fridays are an exciting place to be. But did you know that Downtown Wabash, Inc. organizes the Farmers Market, Shop Hops, Sidewalk Sales, Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza and Jingle Jubilee Holiday Kickoff Event in addition to First Fridays? Well…now you do! Check out our full Downtown Wabash, Inc. schedule of events for 2022, and then put them on your calendar.

First Friday

Monthly street festival jam-packed with food trucks, vendors, downtown shopping and vendors.

  • Feb. 4 – We “heart” Downtown
    • Calling all adult singles, couples and people ready to mingle! Downtown Wabash is hosting the ULTIMATE Valentine’s mixer with micro-events held in Downtown businesses. 
  • March 4 – Shamrock Magic
    • A green and lucky St. Patrick’s Day event featuring Leprechaun-Con: Where everyone is a leprechaun. Purchase matching tuxedo tees for the Downtown Wabash Leprechaun-Con Bar Crawl with green beers, lucky cocktails and more. (Leprechaun-Con is for adults 21 and over. Drink responsibly.)
  • April 1 – Hop Into Spring
    • Bring the kiddos to Paradise Spring Historic Park in Downtown Wabash for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on First Friday! (And keep those eyes peeled for special prized eggs around Downtown.)
  • May 6 – Seniors & Sidewalk Sales
    • Celebrate your senior in Downtown Wabash with the classic Sidewalk Sales from Downtown Wabash Businesses.
  • June 3 – Downtown Wabash pARTy
    • Celebrate the newly designated Wabash Cultural District with a pARTy! From live music and interactive art displays to theatrical performances and dancing in the streets, the Wabash Cultural District is alive and well in Downtown Wabash. 
  • July 1 – The All-American
    • Grilling. Water balloons. Live music. Bounce houses. The All American First Friday is open to families everywhere for an evening of summertime fun in Downtown Wabash.
  • Aug. 5 – Back-to-School Bash
    • The school year may be approaching but summer isn’t over! End the summer in Downtown Wabash with the classic jam-packed, family-friendly First Friday event focused on teachers and students.
  • Sept. 2 – Fiesta Friday
    • Hispanic Heritage Month meets First Friday. Gather in Downtown Wabash for a night of delicious Mexican food, mariachi music, performance art, pinatas and more.
  • Oct. 7 – Harvest & Hops
    • A fall-inspired First Friday in Downtown Wabash with a pumpkin patch, hayrides, beer and cider specials, shopping features and more!
  • Nov. 4 – Flannel Fest
    • First Friday…but make it flannel. Come dressed in your favorite flannel to enjoy the cooler weather and fall-time offerings in Downtown Wabash.
  • Dec. 2 – Wabash Winterland
    • Returning for the second year in a row, the Downtown Wabash Cookie Walk will feature delicious holiday treats to sample from various businesses while you cross off your holiday shopping to-do-list.

Farmers Market

Saturday mornings in Downtown Wabash full of local handmade, homemade, and homegrown vendors.

  • Every Saturday from May 14 – Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. – noon

Shop Hop

Month-long promotional event for local shopping and dining for a chance to win Downtown Bucks.
