Forge Fitness Co. Completes Downtown Facade Improvement Project

Downtown Wabash Inc. is excited to celebrate the completion of a recent facade improvement project at Forge Fitness Co., made possible through the Downtown Wabash Inc. Facade Grant Program. The project includes several improvements designed to enhance the appearance of the building while maintaining its character and creating a more inviting presence along the downtown streetscape. Improvements include replacing two deteriorated south facing garage doors with new black framed glass doors that complement the building’s existing windows, completing necessary brick repairs, and installing updated business signage.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Downtown Wabash, Inc. for the Façade Matching Grant that made our new garage doors and signage possible. These improvements have transformed the look of our building, but more importantly, the glass garage door reflects what we want Forge to be: an inviting, open place where there are fewer barriers between where someone is today and where they want to be in their health and fitness journey,”said Deanna Bowman, owner of Forge Fitness Co.

As an additional improvement, Forge Fitness Co. also received a new hanging pedestrian sign, gifted by Downtown Wabash Inc. The sign adds a distinctive and welcoming element to the storefront while helping pedestrians easily identify the business.

We love seeing these projects come together and watching our downtown become more vibrant, welcoming, and beautiful.”

The Downtown Wabash Inc. Facade Grant Program supports property and business owners as they make improvements that strengthen the appearance, vitality, and long term investment in downtown Wabash. Through partnerships and local investment, the program helps preserve downtown’s historic character while supporting downtown businesses.
